About Indemnity Insurance

Indemnity insurance is basically protection from the plan holder from claims due loss, injury or damage.
This type if insurance is actually the basis of most types of insurance although it is hardly ever mentioned in context. Like most types of insurance it acts as protection against liability. For example apartment owners have indemnity insurance to protect themselves against claims in the case that a tenant is injured during their stay in the apartment. Even a simple sign saying “Park at your own risk” usually means that the owner of the lot has protection against liability.
Its basic purpose is to ensure that the insurer is able to go back to the same state that he was in before damages or loss.
